About Richey's Point S

We are Clark County's oldest tire company, established in 1964. We are open 7 days a week with complete auto services available.

Located at 10512 SE Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98664, Richey's Point S operates as a tire shop serving Vancouver in Washington. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as auto repair shop, propane supplier, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. Vancouver is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. Getting around Vancouver is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Washington's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

even Portland Metro as they've built a solid reputation of great honest work and genuine care. Came at around yesterday - one Of my tire is low and Matt immediately set everything in motion, assigned one of his very knowledgeable crew to work on it. Within about 15 minutes, my car was done & fixed. Great place! Awesome crew & got it done & ready to go within 20 mins! Highly recommended for all your vehicles needs.

Great experience at Point S! I called around, and they had the best price by far—I saved over $500 compared to Discount Tire, and their pricing was about the same as Costco with much faster service. They're a local, mom-and-pop shop that genuinely cares about their customers. Honest, friendly, and efficient. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend them!

Went here to see what local prices were like compared to discount tires price after being recommended a total tire swap due to uneven wear. Went in and Richey’s group was able to not only find that the wear was salvageable, but did a same day rotation and repair on my tires. I was in and out within the hour, I don’t see myself going anywhere else while I’m living in the Vancouver/North Portland area. Thanks Richey.

This place is hands down the best shop I have ever taken a car to. The staff are great and knowledgeable. I’ve never felt pressured into any service or repair. I even went in to have some new tires put on and found out the stock was wrong and they put on some better tires at the original quoted cost. I can not recommend this shop more. Great service, staff and work.

After years with Firestone, I was shocked to see the same service cost nearly triple in under two years — no explanation beyond “normal price increase,” and when I asked for a diagnostic report, they claimed everything’s now paperless… while the printer behind the counter kept churning out documents. That’s when I knew it was time for a change. I stumbled upon Richey’s Point S by accident after getting two tire punctures within two weeks. Both times, I walked in without an appointment and was helped immediately. The team was efficient, friendly, and got the job done right away. This time I decided to try more services and asked for a quote. To my surprise, the price was less than half of Firestone’s — I genuinely thought it might be a scam because Firestone’s quote was 25% higher than the dealership’s. Not only did Richey’s give me a reasonable price, but they also provided two tailored options to help me save as much as possible. Zero pressure, just honest help. What impressed me further is that this shop isn’t new — it’s actually the oldest tire, brake, and suspension shop in the area, serving since 1963. That kind of legacy matters. Highly recommend if you’re tired of big ch
